Brittany Bradford started at Vertex Fitness in April 2010, but took an interest in massage therapy while in high school. Eager to learn everything she could, she dove into as many instructional books as possible, and practicing on friends. During her junior year, she recognized the need for a professional mentor, and began shadowing a licensed massage therapist. This on the job training deepened her interest, and two weeks after graduating from Upper Darby High School in June 2008, she enrolled in the massage therapy curriculum Anthem Institute. There she had over 750 hours of training and over 120 hours at an on-site clinic, learning the modalities of Swedish, Trigger Point and Deep Tissue massage. Brittany graduated from Anthem Institute in June 2009 with an Academic Excellent and Perfect Award A member of American Massage Therapy Association, she has clocked numerous hours of continuing education, and is now skilled in aromatherapy, reflexology, sport massage, myofacial release, pregnancy and chair massage. Her favorites, which she is more than eager to share with clients, are Swedish and Hot Stone massage. A holistic massage therapist, Brittany has a clear philosophy and commitment to her clients. “My massage is not just treatment for my clients, but for me as well. I put my whole body and mind into my work to really connect with each client, and because I love every second of it, it doesn’t feel like work—to them or me. “That's what makes my massage stand out.”
